Here is a breakdown of my farm stand inventory and my price points that have seemingly worked with shoppers so far.

Getting into the business of farming or gardening can sound intimidating - it intimidated me to the point of ‘avoiding’ my true calling for years. I had known, at some level, that I wanted to do something with the environment years ago. But I ignored the call after feeling like working with plants was something left to those with green thumbs.

I have since learned that gardening and farming is innate to humanity. It’s something we’ve done since the beginning of time. Your ancestors that came before you gardened and farmed, which means ‘green thumb’ genes run in your blood, too.

Approaching farming and gardening on a massive scale from the get-go will be too overwhelming. The truth is you barely need an acre and a little farm stand to get started with this lifestyle. Take my word for it as I am doing this every day! I was shocked by how much my farm stand made me from opening it July 2024 through this month as someone, again, who really had no idea what I was doing.
